A visit to Tate Modern to see the exhibition - Frida:The Making of an Icon’, which traces Frida Kahlo’s artistic evolution through her life and artwork. It includes a selection of revered self portraits, some of her traditional Mexican dresses and jewellery and several photographs. Along with her artwork the exhibition features many artworks and objects by contemporaries and later artists influenced by her aesthetics and legacy.
